Christopher Bell took the lead one final time coming out of the pits with four laps remaining and held off Cole Custer on an overtime restart Saturday to win the Xfinity Series event at Darlington Raceway. Bell had the most dominant car as he led 109 of 150 laps.
DARLINGTON, S.C. — Christopher Bell took the lead one final time coming out of the pits with four laps remaining and held off Cole Custer on an overtime restart Saturday to win the Xfinity Series event at Darlington Raceway.
All the leaders came in to freshen up tires on the rubber-chewing track and Bell beat everyone back to the track headed to overtime. Justin Allgaier, who won the Xfinity race at Darlington on Mother’s Day weekend in May, finished 10th.
