A magazine reports Jose Perez has been located in Spain.
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT-A Cuban coach had help leaving the Little League World Series complex Saturday night.
According to the entrepreneur magazine Vizaca, Perez has been located in Barcelona, Spain. There are reports he traveled to Mexico before leaving for Spain, the report states. South Williamsport police are investigating the disappearance but Chief Daniel Embeck said no laws may have been broken.The Department of State told PennLive information about individual visas is private.Perez was one of two coaches and a manager working with the Bayamo team. It was the first ever team from Cuba to make it to the world series.The same day, the Cuban Baseball and Softball Federation signed an agreement to extend its affiliation with Little League to 2025.
