CONTRA COSTA COUNTY – Crews on Thursday afternoon were fighting a three-alarm fire in Bay Point.
The fire was reported at 4:45 p.m. on Willow Pass Road at North Bella Monte Avenue, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. Crews managed to knock it down within an hour.ConFire said the fire was burning in a mix of vegetation, vehicles and structures across at least two city blocks.
