Two people were killed and two others were injured in a two-car crash near Lake Pleasant.
Two people were killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash near Lake Pleasant on Saturday night.The crash, between a Kia Forte and a Ford F-150, happened near State Route 74 and Castle Hot Springs Road, around 6:15 p.m. on April 20."Preliminary investigation shows the driver of the red F150 was traveling southbound on Castle Hot Springs Road while the white Kia Forte was traveling northbound. The cause of this collision is still being investigated," police said.
In the car, there were three people. The driver was hospitalized, but the two others were killed.The victims are identified as 19-year-old Nivesh Mukka and 19-year-old Goutham Parsi, both from India.Arizona State University says the two victims were enrolled as international students."ASU’s International Students and Scholars Center is working with the Dean of Students, counseling services and housing representatives to identify their student groups, friends, roommates, etc.
