Craig Porter Jr. is still feeling achiness from an ankle injury suffered at the end of last season.

Now, Porter enters his second Summer League, where he is no longer the undrafted rookie trying to make his way onto the roster. He is now the veteran trying to lead the Cavs to its second straight Summer League championship, but he’s still dealing with his lingering ankle injury. “He sees it as his group to really help,” Summer League head coach Jordan Ott said of Porter. “You can tell he’s had NBA reps, and he has a way about him. He has a confidence about him, knowing that he had some success last year in the NBA. ... Craig has a steadiness and a mature way of playing, and I can see that pretty quick.”
While in the NBL, Travers is currently on Melbourne United, where he’s teamed up with former Cavs player Matthew Dellavedova. Dellavedova has taken Travers under his wing and instilled confidence in Travers that he’s on the cusp of making an NBA roster.
