Local coworking firm Common Desk plans new location in North Dallas.

The shared office firm which got its start in Deep Ellum is headed to North Dallas for its next local location.plans to open its latest coworking center in The Hill mixed-use development at the northeast corner of U.S. Highway 75 and Walnut Hill Lane.

The 200,000-square-foot retail and commercial center is across the street from DART’s Walnut Hill/Presbyterian Hospital commuter rail station.Common Desk plans to locate a more than 23,000-square-foot shared office location at The Hill. The new operation is scheduled to open late this summer, according to planning documents filed with the state.The North Dallas projects is one of several new coworking spaces for Common Desk.

Common Desk is building a more than 40,000-square-foot shared office facility in Las Colinas’ Urban Center that will also open this summer.Common Desk has a dozen locations in North Texas plus offices in Austin, Houston and North Carolina.
