Variety reports that Courteney Cox will be reprising her role as Gale Weathers in Scream 7. This marks the seventh consecutive film for Cox, making her the only cast member to appear in all installments of the franchise. The news comes after Cox previously stated she hadn't been approached for the film.
The true final woman will be making her return to Scream 7, as Variety reports that Courteney Cox will be back in action as the one, the only Ms. Gale Weathers . The Friends alum has played the role of the cutthroat journalist since the first movie slashed its way onto screens back in 1996 and is the only cast member to be in all seven movies, making her a true final girl. The exciting news comes following Cox’s reports in late September that she hadn’t yet been approached for the upcoming film.
