Corinne Foxx is feeling grateful for her father, Jamie Foxx, and the people who helped him recover from a terrifying health scare.
Included in the post is a photo of Corinne and a man she revealed is the surgeon who “saved” Jamie’s life. “You were the funniest patient he’s ever had,” she wrote of her dad. Jamie opened up about the cause of his health scare for the first time in What Had Happened Was, revealing that what he thought was a bad headache turned out to be a brain bleed that led to a stroke. “Before I could get the aspirin, I went out,” he told fans, explaining that he doesn’t remember what happened in the 20 days following the incident.“What they told me was that they took me to the first doctor and that first doctor gave me a cortisone shot and sent me home,” he stated.
