Cops have shut THIRTEEN shops on Manchester's infamous 'Counterfeit Street' in one go. They were under the roof of one building on Bury New Road.
Since October, counterfeit clothing, perfume, and accessories worth millions of pounds have been seized and huge amounts of prescription drugs. Detective Sergeant Matt Donnelly said: "Operation Vulcan is tackling serious organised crime in the area and the last eight weeks has seen major disruption to every level of criminality in the area. An integral part of this operation’s success is engaging with members of the local community, which is most effective when we work with our partners, and the closures this week are an example of our multi agency approach in action.
