A power line at E. Sandy Lake and Kimbel Court fell, knocking out power to the area.
The outage caused low or no water pressure for residents.The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required Coppell to tell all customers to boil their water prior to consuming.City crews are working to flush out the water system.
Coppell says residents and businesses should expect a buildup of air in their water lines and that they should open their faucets to flush the air out.Stephenville police say lifeguards performed CPR after Colt was found unresponsive in the pool. Police are investigating but say at this time all indicators are that it’s a tragic accident.
The boil water notice is expected to be lifted Thursday morning after submitting a water sample to the Trinity River Authority on Wednesday afternoon. In the meantime, free bottled water is available to Coppell residents at the Cozby Library until 8 p.m.
