Highs will only be in the 60s in much of New Jersey on Thursday.
Highs on Thursday will be mainly in the 60s, more than 10 degrees below normal for the first full day of summer, with parts of South Jersey climbing into the 70s, the National Weather Service said.
For anyone venturing to the beach, there’s a high risk of rip currents in the ocean, the weather service said.
