Started three years ago by JaRyCo Development and Allen’s Johnson family, The Farm is one of the largest mixed-use projects going up along the Rayburn Tollway.is constructing 325 rental units in its Alta at The Farm apartment community which is being completed on the east side of Alma Road.The new office building will include outdoor ground-level workspace and balconies on every office floor.

“Companies want creative workspaces that encourage their employees to return to the office,” said Dan Bowman, CEO of Allen Economic Development Corp. “This building is part of a trend that will help redefine work-life balance for the modern employee.”AdvertisementThe entire Farm development is planned to include 1.6 million square feet of office space, 142,000 square feet of retail, a 150-room hotel, 60,000 square feet of restaurants, 112 townhomes and 2,400 urban residential units.
