The educational child care center plans to serve 150 children ranging from infants to 5-year-olds.
Construction has begun on another facility at the Susquehanna Union Green development in Susquehanna Township.. The educational child care center will consist of more than 10,000 square feet of space along with outdoor play areas. Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg plans to serve 150 children ranging from infants to five-year-olds.
“We’re excited to bring Kiddie Academy’s engaging, safe and fun learning environment that focuses on a child’s all-round development and provide high-quality early childhood learning to serve the Susquehanna Township community,” Deepak Sharma, co-owner of Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg, said in a news release.
The facility will have an entrance on Progress Avenue. The center is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023. The general contractor is Mowery.Kiddie Academy was founded in 1981 and has more than 300 centers in 33 states and the District of Columbia. Kiddie Academy has a facility in Silver Spring Township, and also plans to open a location in Derry Township.
