He has a genuine chemistry with his dancers, matching their steps but always making sure he's the focus. He's far removed from the goofy charmer who crooned"Old Town Road" with Billy Ray Cyrus.
"Sun Goes Down” was an early highlight. Nas' recounting of his own coming out and suicidal thoughts cut beautifully through the noise. He was accompanied by a gold horse prop for a ride through breakout"Old Town Road” and"Rodeo,” linked with a dance break to Ginuwine's"Pony.” The crowd ate it all up, encouraging him to amp up the camp with nonstop cheers and whoops of approval.
