“I’ll just say this, because I was shocked and horrified: I saw this well-known actress who’s been around for a while, and we were both deplaning, and I was horrified by her luggage. I was absolutely horrified. I couldn’t shake that. I still talk about it now,” Domingo says. “It was pink and dirty. I was like,
“Jamie has become one of my dearest friends, she’s become my family. Also, she’s an expert at what she does. I’m telling you, still to this day, it’s still hard for people to do Black skin. She balances my skin out beautifully. She’s an artist, and she knows how to bring it. I love that she pushes me out of my comfort zone as well.”
