However, it transitioned to cold rain by midday with temperatures rising well-above-freezing. Steady soaking rain continues Friday afternoon. High temperatures range from the upper 30s to low 40s. Rain departs Friday night, but clouds linger. Temperatures fall into the low to mid 30s overnight.
In the colder spots north, water on roads may freeze Friday night. Be wary of black ice if you are traveling early Saturday morning. Sunshine may gradually return Saturday afternoon. However, temperatures only warm into the low to mid 40s. Saturday night looks very cold, with lows in the low to mid 20s. Sunday looks partly to most sunny, with highs in the low to mid 50s.
Rain now appears possible Sunday night into Monday morning. This may keep temperatures quite a bit warmer Sunday night. Winter weather does not look likely given temperatures well-above-freezing. The rest of next week looks mainly dry, with a partly to mostly sunny sky each day. Temperatures remain cool, with highs in the low to mid 50s and lows near freezing.
