An amazing clone trooper cosplay inspired by one of Star Wars: The Clone Wars' most emotional scenes honors Ahsoka's character in the best way.

A clone Captain Vaughn cosplay honors Ahsoka Tano’s character and one of Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7’s most emotional scenes. Throughout the Clone Wars, Ahsoka fought alongside the clone troopers of the 501st Legion. CT-0292, a.k.a. Vaughn, was a Captain of the 332nd Company, a division within the 501st Legion. Vaughn, along with his men, aided Ahsoka during the Siege of Mandalore in The Clone Wars season 7.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Cosplayer Bryan Freeman shared an impressive clone Captain Vaughn cosplay inspired by the pivotal scene in which the clones reveal their painted helmets before embarking on a dangerous, yet ultimately successful mission. The Captain Vaughn cosplay sports the traditional clone trooper armor, accents painted in the 501st Legion’s recognizable blue shade, as well the orange and white markings in homage to the clones’ former Jedi Commander, Ahsoka. Sadly, Captain Vaughn and many of the men of the 332nd Company were killed during the Siege of Mandalore after being lured into a trap set by Maul – though their fates were arguably already sealed, as Order 66 was enacted soon after the battle on Mandalore ended.

When Order 66 was instigated, Ahsoka, like every other Jedi, was forced to make a tough decision. Fight back and kill those troopers she respected so much, or find another way. Ahsoka knew, more than anyone, what it was like to lose control of her fate after the Jedi Council wrongly accused her of treason. She refused to be the one to kill them, and with Rex’s help, she escaped the carnage – though many of the clones that came after her still lost their lives in a subsequent crash.
