Officers alerted to the stolen motorcycle by a license plate reader camera were pursuing the bike when the rider crashed
A Chula Vista police pursuit of a stolen motorcycle ended when the rider crashed into the back of a vehicle stopped near an intersection Sunday, ejecting him and his passenger, police said.
The incident began after police were notified that a license plate reader camera had spotted the stolen motorcycle on Main Street east of Interstate 805 shortly after 5:30 p.m.
