One of the most revered independent watchmakers of all time, Dufour has made only around 230 watches over the course of his life and career—all of them designed and crafted by hand with very little assistance. While most of his pieces are specially commissioned, he’s developed three of his own collections including the Grande & Petite Sonnerie minute repeater and Duality as well as the Simplicity.
This milestone event served as the perfect occasion for Dufour and his wife Elisabeth to announce the creation of their foundation. Its mission is to help address some of the world’s most pressing humanitarian needs, including access to food, water, healthcare, housing, education, and support for the environment.
