Supermodel Christie Brinkley suffered injuries during rehearsal that required her to have surgery to her wrist and arm, rendering her unable to participate in the rest of the season.The news was announced on Monday's, Brinkley, who seemed to be in good spirits as she joked about her injury, said, "Showbiz is all about getting a break, and Sailor and I both got one onthis season.
Meanwhile, Brinkley-Cook, who fit perfectly into her mom's performance outfit as she gets ready just hours before the show premiere, told"I felt this high of just attacking something I was so afraid of and it felt like something I need to do," she told"I'm doing this mostly for my mom! I just want to make her happy and make her proud," Brinkley-Cook added. "She loved doing this, she loves dancing and she loves performing and getting hurt was her worst nightmare.
