A man has been charged in connection with a shooting outside a Chicago police station in Woodlawn Saturday and a subsequent crash into a police car that injured 10 people, four of which were officers.

Migrants outside the police station told FOX 32 News that occupants inside the Jeep drove to the police station and began to randomly shoot at families camped near the sidewalk. Evans was arrested after the crash and was charged with two counts of aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm. He was also charged with:One felony count of unlawful use of a weapon with a machine gunOne felony count of aggravated fleeing causing damage to propertyOne misdemeanor count of driving under the of alcoholState Rep. Angie Guerrero-Cuellar released a statement Saturday night confirming one of the officers injured in the crash was her husband.
