Cheri Oteri has performed many memorable 'Saturday Night Live' skits over the years, but one of her favorites involved some creative instruction from Snoop Dogg . While co-hosting TODAY with Jenna & Friends on Feb. 13, the comedian recalled the sketch from over two decades ago where she played broadcast journalist Barbara Walters and interviewed Snoop Dogg . “I went down into his dressing room, and he said, ‘Cheri, this is really funny.
From what, I don't know,' she says then awkwardly laughs. Oteri then offered some behind-the-scenes insight into the evolution of the skit. “You saw in the back his bodyguards were his cousins. I did not know what to do with them. So I was like, ‘All right, you’ll be Snoop’s bodyguards because you just never know when Barbara’s going to snap,’” she said. Jenna was thoroughly entertained by the backstory and said, 'By the way, that isn't the best friend Martha Snoop.
