, many fans are wondering if it’ll be a different version of the character that he played for several years on Netflix., Cox was asked about this and said that he doesn’t think that his character in the upcoming show will be a new version or different character. Instead, Cox said, it’ll be a Matt Murdock who is going through a “different period” of his life.
“I don’t think it’s a different character,” said Cox. “I just think it’s maybe a different period of his life. I don’t think my interpretation will change — they hired the same actor. We’re saying this is a whole new … era, or variant?” He pauses for a moment. “I haven’t read the scripts, so I don’t know. But like, it’s part of the multiverse?”She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

According to Cox, the goofier tone of She-Hulk gave him a new perspective on the character of Daredevil, one that he anticipates will makes its way into“The only way I’ll change is if, tonally, the show is very different, I don’t think anyone should read into the name as to the kind of stories that we’re going to tell,” Cox said on the show’s name, which is a reference to one of the more iconic comic stories in Daredevil’s history.
