The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas showcases the latest in technology, from robotic companions to AI-powered smart glasses.
Tombot, a robotic dog designed for individuals who can't have a real pet, was showcased during the 2025 CES Unveiled event on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in Las Vegas. The multi-day Consumer Technology Association (CTA) organized event kicked off this week in Las Vegas, featuring the latest gadgets and innovations across various industries, including personal technology, transportation, healthcare, sustainability, and more.
CES 2024 attracted over 138,000 attendees, and organizers anticipate similar turnout for this year's show. Over 4,500 exhibitors, including 1,400 startups, are expected to occupy 2.5 million net square feet of space. Gary Shapiro, CEO and vice chair of the CTA, stated, 'These are the people getting together, focusing on solving some of the world’s biggest problems — and magic occurs.' CES, formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show, brings together attendees and exhibitors from around the globe, with an anticipated 50,000 international attendees. Notable companies participating this year include Nvidia, Delta Air Lines, Honda, Volvo, Panasonic, and L'Oréal. Shapiro emphasized that organizers work closely with officials to ensure event safety and have implemented 'modest' changes in response to recent incidents, although he declined to provide specifics
