The Carlisle Area School District was without internet on Friday after a “security incident” prompted officials to shut down and repair the system.
A security issue prompted officials at a central Pennsylvania school district to turn off the district’s internet on Friday.
“In an abundance of caution, we have shut down our internet system until it can be fully investigated. There is no known safety threat to our schools, students, or staff; however, we will be operating without internet in the school district today,” the district’s superintendent said in a Friday statement.
