The energy company continues to be criticized for taking almost two weeks to restore electricity to all of its customers. “Whoever thought your company’s name CenterPoint would be the center point of this issue,” said House Committee on State Affairs Chair State Rep. Hunter Todd . Wells is CenterPoint's third CEO in three years. He stated the company has set three pillars of improvements in resiliency, communications, and strengthening local partnerships. “I take personal accountability for the areas where we fell short of our customers expectations and I want to personally apologize to our customers and their families for what they experienced," Wells said.
