The meeting between the two school is supposed to take place 'sometime this week'.
Center Grove and Carmel will finally be meeting to discuss the canceling of their sports contracts, according to school officials.
"This sudden request came as a shock, given the collaboration we have enjoyed over the last 25 years. We have reached out to Carmel to request a meeting to address any concerns they have regarding the future of our relationship," principal Jeffry M. Henderson said in a message to families Thursday. Neither athletic department released any additional details about what may have led to the contract issues, but on Feb. 28, Center Grove announced that Carmel had agreed to meet with them to discuss those athletic contracts.
