Funeral services for slain Lebanon police Lt. William Lebo announced
The funeral is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., according toLebo was killed Thursday afternoon while responding to a burglary call at 1108 Forest Street in Lebanon. Burglary suspect Travis Shaud, 34, was also killed, and two other Lebanon officers were injured. An update on their injuries was not immediately available Monday.
He was born in Italy but spent the bulk of his life in Lebanon County, according to his obituary. Lebo married his wife Lora in 2009, and the couple loved “traveling, golfing and holding every minute of life as precious,” the obituary said.This photo, provided by city of Lebanon, was taken of Lebanon police Lt. That calmness was reflected in Lebo’s composure on July 2, 2002, when a man rammed his van into Lebo, breaking both ankles a week before being promoted to the rank of sergeant, Holler said.
