After more than a year of preparation, Cuyahoga County Public Library is hoping for a spring construction start date for its new Brooklyn branch on Memphis Avenue.

BROOKLYN, Ohio -- After more than a year of preparation, the Cuyahoga County Public Library is hoping for a spring construction start date for its new Brooklyn branch on Memphis Avenue.
“Working with Bialosky & Partners Architects, we’re well on the way with design. It takes about a year to construct, so we should be cutting that ribbon in the spring of 2024.”The new building is planned for what is currently the site of Brooklyn’s City Hall/police station, which is planning to move in early 2023 into the new City Center complex located across Memphis Avenue.
