Cleveland’s first game is set for Oct. 25 in Brooklyn against the Nets at 7:30 p.m.
The Cavs were once again excluded from the Christmas Day slate -- one of the marquee dates on the NBA calendar each year. They haven’t been featured on Christmas since 2017 -- the year before LeBron James left for Los Angeles. Even though the Cavs will be home for Christmas, they are scheduled to play on other holidays -- Veteran’s Day , Thanksgiving Eve , New Year’s Day , Martin Luther King Jr. Day , Valentine’s Day and Easter .
There will be 15 sets of back-to-back games, including four home sets, five home-road sets, four road sets and two road-home sets. From the All-Star break until the end of the season, Cleveland has an NBA-high seven back-to-backs.Getting to the finish line won’t be easy, as Cleveland’s longest road trip spans five games over eight days, starting March 31 and wrapping up April 7.
LeBron, the beloved Akron native who spent 11 total seasons with the Cavs, will come to town once with the Lakers -- Nov. 25, as part of a five-game homestand.
