The St. Louis Cardinals have reportedly decided to call-up one of their top pitching prospects to help alleviate some exhaustion among the bullpen.
The St. Louis Cardinals have made it past the halfway point of the 2024 season but the pitching staff is feeling the heat and could use some relief.
"The plan to call up right-handed pitcher Gordon Graceffo ahead of Friday's game against the Reds," The Athletic's Katie Woo reported late Thursday night. "Initial plan is to use him in relief to help alleviate a taxed bullpen."
