Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner has placed some lofty goals on himself for this season.
As the Arizona Cardinals get ready for the new 2024 season, the goal is simple for them: get back to winning football games. After reaching the postseason during the 2021 season, the Cardinals have dropped down to winning only four games in each of the past two seasons. It has been poor football to watch so Arizona is determined to get back to its winning ways.
He wants to show what he can do fully and is looking forward to the challenge ahead of him this season.'I don't take it lightly,' Conner said of passing the 1,000-yard mark in Year 7. 'Just being able to play the game and, so, with the accolades that came along with, I recognize that a little bit. The hard work kind of paid off.'Conner will need to prove himself early on with the team in order to not be jumped in the team's hierarchy.
