In the years since though, the likes of Smokey Nagata, Fast & Furious and Gran Turismo have helped make it one of the most iconic cars ever built, but does the driving experience live up to the hype?Thanks to a cult following in the modding scene, this 1996-build six-speed manual JDM Supra RZ example was a rare find in being completely standard.
The A80 was an imposing car in its time, and as captured by Aston Parrott, not much has changed all these years on. Though the increase in size of today’s cars make it seem a little smaller than it once did, that powerful, curvaceous stance most certainly remains, only with a definite dose of ‘90s nostalgia courtesy of those 17-inch five-spoke wheels.
