Kirk Cameron and Riley Gaines have learned that a public library they planned to visit on August 5 will not be able to accommodate them. First Liberty Institute is pushing back.
Children’s book author Kirk Cameron says a library event is being sabotaged because of his pro-faith, family values., this coming Saturday, August 5, actor-writer Kirk Cameron along with his publisher, Brave Books, and special guest Riley Gaines, women's sports advocate, have learned that they will not be welcome due to the library system's concerns about logistics and safety ahead of August 5.

He and his publisher have encouraged Americans to reserve space at their local libraries this Saturday, August 5, for a"See You at the Library" nationwide book reading event. ’BRING BACK WHOLESOME, TRADITIONAL, PATRIOTIC VALUES': WHY 3 GROUPS ARE HEADING TO THE LIBRARY ON SATURDAYIt went on,"The Moms for Liberty group failed to apply for an event permit in advance, and it was determined that City resources cannot support an event of this size on such short notice."
It also said,"Alternative accommodations have been recommended to the organization to ensure a safe and well attended event."
