CLEVELAND, Ohio – This is one of the strangest offseasons for the Browns – and that covers a lot of ground. They are awaiting how the NFL rules on Deshaun Watson’s possible suspension. But there is more to the Browns than Watson. Fans have questions:Please tell me the Browns will bring in a legitimate QB to salvage what still could be a very good season.
I keep hearing the Browns don’t want Darnold back in a deal for Mayfield. But if Watson is indeed suspended for the season, I’d do it. Not that I’d want Darnold to start. But he’s a better option as a backup than Dobbs – who should be a No. 3 QB.In that span, he threw 18 TD passes compared to 24 interceptions. He also lost 10 fumbles. I’d rather start Brissett, who at least doesn’t turn the ball over.
