Camila Cabello's absence at last year's Met Gala was noted. However, today she proved that the wait was worth it. The singer with Cuban roots arrived on the red carpet with a design that revealed a very unique interpretation of this edition's dress code: The Garden of Time. The 2024 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute's exhibition Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, which will resuscitate fashion pieces that are so fragile they can't be worn again.
The design dripped on the carpet as she ascended and was one of the evening's most creative allusions to the passage of time and ephemerality.
