The new campaign ad says Harris's prosecutor background will help her 'fix' the southern border.
A California sheriff featured in a new campaign advertisement for Vice President Kamala Harris denied his support for the candidate Monday, claiming she has done little to help law enforcement in the past.features clips of the vice president alongside police officers while touting her experience as a prosecutor. Harris, according to the ad, will use this experience to “fix” the southern border.
Tulare County, California Sheriff Mike Boudreaux says he was featured in the ad, but reviled the assumption that he and the vice president were on good terms. Boudreaux previously ran for Congress as a Republican, but suspended his campaign in July. He sought to fill Kevin McCarthy's old seat at the time.
