Two squadrons from California Naval Air Station Lemoore were part of the first all-female squad to lead the flyover at the Super Bowl.

Cmdr. Calli Zimmerman and Lt. Saree Moreno flew in a diamond formation as the elite team of squadrons.
The flyover formation included two F/A-18F Super Hornets from the Flying Eagles of Strike Fighter Squadron 122, an F-35C Lightning II from the Argonauts of VFA-147 and an EA 18G Growler from the Vikings of Electronic Attack Squadron 129. "That part is not new to us, we do that a lot in our everyday training and when we are on deployments," Moreno explained. "The new part is it's the Super Bowl; a lot of eyes are on us."
