Chennedy Carter ripped Caitlin Clark's skillset following an on-court incident.
On Saturday, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was part of an on-court incident that saw her get knocked to the ground fairly hard by Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter. After the game was over, Clark said that the foul wasn't a basketball play, while Carter refused to answer any questions about the incident.This led to many questioning why Carter refused to answer questions, leading to more of the narrative that players around the league aren't fans of Clark.
Since Clark was drafted by the Fever, the WNBA has seen a massive rise in popularity and the league has given teams private charter planes to use.Carter also defended Sky forward Angel Reese, who has a mini rivalry with Clark dating back to their days in college. Reese and Clark faced off in the NCAA Tournament two straight seasons, with Reese's LSU Tigers taking down Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 National Championship game.
