We make use of large cohort studies of several thousands of families in the UK and abroad to understand how mental health difficulties emerge.
We focus on identifying causal factors that can contribute to the development of mental health difficulties, in childhood, adolescence and beyond. Does it matter when in childhood bullying happens?
