But this way, hopefully the company won't have to apologize as they did after last summer's debacle.

To avoid that catastrophe, Build-A-Bear is staggering guests in three-day windows to visit the store. Build-A-Bear Workshop offered customers a chance to buy any bear for the price of their child's age on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Customers wait in line, some for even over seven hours, at Coconut Point in Estero, Florida.The Pay Your Age sale began as a promotion for the company's Count Your Candles birthday program, which is responsible for one-third of the company sales.
