A brush fire broke out near Pacific Palisades and swelled to about 20 acres amid a strong windstorm Tuesday morning, January 7, authorities said, and structures were threatened. The fire was burning near the 1100 block of North Piedra Morada Drive, a residential street in a hillside neighborhood, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. What started the fire was not known.
