In his absence, Jordan Akins has caught nine passes for 76 yards, and tight end Blake Whiteheart caught the 1 yard TD from Watson on the opening drive of Sunday’s 20-16 loss to the Raiders. “For us right now, really our focus is just playing better,” he said. “Certainly, that doesn’t mean players play better. That means all of us have to do a better job. So, I have to do a better job, our offensive coaches have to do a better job, our offensive players have to do a better job. But that’s all of us together. So that’s really where our focus is.
The Browns can use Garrett at near full-strength to disrupt Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who’s off to a rousing start.Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick out of LSU, owns the highest completion percentage through a QB’s first four games in NFL history at 82.1%, ahead of No. 2 Tom Brady at 79.2%. His early prowess hasn’t been lost on the Browns.
