Browns cornerback Greg Newsome hit George Pickens with an insult saying that Pickens is a 'fake tough guy'
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is pulled away from Cleveland Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II at the end of the game during Thursday Night Football.During the play, Pickens and Newsome got tangled up on a Hail Mary pass and started swinging at one another in the back of the end zone. Pickens and Newsome were restrained and held up on the end zone barrier and nearly spilled into the stands before security held each player back from one another.
Shortly after the game, Newsome yelled in the Browns locker room that Pickens ‘was not even going for the ball.’Then, Newsome took to X to essentially repeat the same thing. Pickens said after the game that ‘nothing’ happened but that he blamed the loss on the referees and conditions. “Like I said, conditions played a huge, huge part in this game. I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. The conditions kinda saved them today,” Pickens said.
The Steelers and Browns, and Newsome and Pickens, will get to settle their differences on the football field on December 8 when the Browns come to Pittsburgh., where our team of sports betting experts has reviewed the experience, payout speed, parlay options and quality of odds for multiple sportsbooks.
