After six years of medical marijuana moratoriums it appears newly amended legislation will be adopted soon in Brook Park.
As a result, council members amended the legislation at their Nov. 1 meeting, which predominately encompass properties along Brookpark Road.
Councilman Tom Troyer asked the law director if the new zoning language “is substantial enough that we would not get sued.” “It is certainly an improvement on what we had before, which pretty much equaled one single area that could be used,” Horvath replied. “I think it cures the central problem … and would most likely stand.”Read more stories from the
