'Crossroads,' the 2002 film starring Britney Spears, is returning to movie theaters for two nights only In honor of the release of the pop star's memoir, 'The Woman in Me.'
As the trio hit the road with no money and a heap of dreams, they catch a ride with Mimi's handsome friend Ben . But the journey will change them in ways they can't expect, pushing them to hold onto their big dreams and never forget the friendships that have shaped them.
Tamra Davis directed from the Rhimes script. The cast also features Kim Cattrall and Dan Akyroyd. "I am beyond thrilled that Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Records and Trafalgar Releasing are rereleasing and was so enthralled with the time capsule of nostalgia that this incredible ensemble cast brings to the screen. Britney is absolutely breathtaking to watch, and Shonda is showing us her early expertise in writing complicated female characters.
