The trailer also seems to showcase that Penelope's secret will come out by the end of the finale.
Because of this, future romances of the Bridgerton family that are covered in upcoming seasons of the Netflix show might not feature the now-iconic Julie Andrews narration. This could be the case even though season 3 is technically adapting book 4, skipping over the main romance featured in book 3.
