Despite the number and proportion of women obtaining STEM degrees increasing considerably, representation in leadership positions has been fairly stagnant. They represent about 17% of senior management positions and only 11% of board positions in biotechnology. One woman is breaking those barriers.

The fact that billions of people can now access computers in their pockets has revolutionized our daily way of life. Some of the greatest leaps in human health have occurred through access to sanitation and vaccines.Vaccines are safe, convenient, require relatively limited infrastructure , and accessible to most anyone that needs it.
