Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks was not at practice Tuesday for “personal reasons” — and he also was not traded at the NFL's deadline.
In Cooks 8½ seasons, he has 8,271 yards receiving and 49 touchdowns. He’s had six 1,000 yard receiving seasons in the past seven years.
Brandin Cooks has been addressing trade rumors on his own personal Twitter account. What kind of communication have you had with him in the past couple of days? “Just players in general, they’re on our football team. They have a role. Brandin has a big role for us. He’s one of the best players on the team. Kind of simple as that. There’s a reason why he’s on the team. We like him here.”
