NAPA, CALIFORNIA – May 26, Emerson Burt, from Marin, and Lizz Alvarez, from Los Angeles, scream as Post Malone takes the JaM Cellars Stage on Friday, the first day of the Napa Valley Music Festival. Tens of thousands of music lovers are descending on BottleRock Napa Valley on Friday — Day 1 of the festival — with the intent of seeing big-name headliners Stevie Nicks and Megan Thee Stallion perform.
Yet, there are a lot of other cool acts on the bill — some of whom won’t be all that familiar to many attendees. Here are three lesser-known acts that you definitely don’t want to miss on Day 1 at the festival. “Guitar is an extension of me and a way to communicate my feelings,” Bowers is quoted as saying on the festival’s website. “It’s all about the feel, especially when I’m playing blues. I’m just trying to have my own voice on the guitar.”The name may or may not sound all that familiar to you.
